I love the graphics. The sky looks great at night and the way the sun shines thru the trees is just amazing. But then again I haven't played any new games(except this one of course) lately.

I said troll size, brutes arent even half a trolls size. this was a really, really, big greydwarf.

Was it a Greydwarf Brute? They're not exactly troll sized but they're a lot bigger than the other greydwarfs.

i played it solo for over 100 hours, its good with friends but you dont need them to enjoy the game

It's not difficult to play solo. Grinding for resources will be a little faster with others, but all of the bosses can be beaten easily solo.

Set a ward near your dock. It will prevent spawning in a larger radius than a workbench but better still is it's alarm feature. Any structure (including boats) that takes damage in the radius of a war..

I built my house on a peninsula.You have to walk through it, and use the back door to reach my make shift dock.Even then I made it a short swim away.

That is one of the reasons why i build my dock in swamp. Leeches don't attack vessels while there is no people inside. Skeletons and draugr can't swim

Give it a chance. Its one of the most beautiful games you'll ever play.

I find making shorter cast helps a lot, hook'em at 10m or less and you'll reel them in every time I have found.

Keep your line distance at 10-14. I think the food you spend keeping your stamina up is not worth the food you catch.

Two stamina food and short casts.You want to see the fish as it approaches the hook and time the pull for easiest catch so being close helps.
