I've always classified that as cheating the game mechanics, and would never do it. (But it makes exactly no difference to me that others use it in their own game. Play however you want.)

My worry about Mistlands is, following the biome difficulty progression, that whatever creatures they introduce, will be worse than the fulings. Which scares and excites me...

the old mistlands is gone... the webs and the sculls are gone its a wasteland now.. well well see what happpens .. dont think there will be spiders, more of a Norse lore type of stuff

You definitely get the horror of spiders there. Damn things are either "is it dead?" motionless or practically teleporting.

It really doesn't get much easier to use than it currently is.

Honestly I have beat all the bosses solo, but not in the manly viking battle way. The hoe and pick are my boss weapons, thus it is perfectly feasible to play solo but the question is whether you want ..

My Map Table just fills an otherwise unused corner in my house. I did not find any real use for it in SP.

Click on the bee hive. What does it say? If it doesn't say one of the following; the bees are happy, need more room, bees are sleeping, or drops honey than you got problems. I think mods are stuffing ..

its not just a roof, a tall wall nearby will cause them to not produce.you should get 4 a day or so per hive. they need to be about 2 vikings tall away from any sort of wall or roof.

The hives cannot be enclosed. If the bees are not happy there's always (in my experience) a message like "The bees need more space." I like putting them on the roof of my house.

It may be the trees, they don't like things overhanging. Move them to an open area.

Try placing them where you grow crops but not to close to one another.

It doesn't tell you anything when you check the bees? I think the trees are a little close possibly. I usually put them up off the ground, on a post for example.

bees are happy, it will take about a game day for them to make 1 honey

i have 3 beehive. At the beginning it is also shown to me that the bees are happy. that disappears after a while and nothing happens. no honey and no more news that the bees are happy
