Putting your computer in sleep mode pauses the game, can be handy if you're too lazy to log out

items from a chest or a cart , boat, etc. should stay a few in game days and shouldn't despawn if near a workbench

guys, getting raided while asleep totally my fault. but is items disappearing from a smashed chest a thing or a bug?

There are certain commands that you can use even on a dedicated server. optterrain for instance is a devcommnd that can be run on a dedicated server. Don't know about the exploremap / hidemap commands..
