Just a question here... my save lag spike is very short.. less than a second.If your time is much longer I wonder if you run mods or something that may be causing the issue to be worse?

Why not just log out from time to time whenever your rested buff ends? You can log right back in having made effectively made a backup, without having lost anything.

actually found a server side characters mod which should fix the issue. my brother hosts the games with his better pc and doesnt get crashes, this should alleviate the problems if it works

I feed my 2-** boars at the farm carrots, turnips,raspberries,blueberries...they'll eat just about any non-meat veggie/berry.
