There is a RNG element to it. Beech will often drop more than one seed. As such if you cut down 100 trees you will usually get 75-100 seeds. BUT... you can cut down 10 or so in a row and get nothing. ..

Haven't tried it with a berserker yet but you can easily parry lox with the regular iron shield.

They work fine for me for blocking and parrying. You're not going to block a troll with a tree using a buckler though.

My Buckler works aboslutly perfectly.

I've been using iron buckler in plains biome to much success. Just don't use it against the heavier hitters. Its a buckler not a shield. Use it like a buckler. Personally I like it for it's light weig..

Sometimes the smoke particles bug out and go invisible.

Probably smoked and didn't notice, it's less noticeable now than it used to be (one of my H&H complaints) Damage feedback in general is less noticeable.

I'm a bow guy. For close encounters I switch to a sword or a blunt weapon. 450 hours in and I never crafted a spear. I really should craft a spear.
