Are you talking about those white mushrooms about half as tall as you that require the console to spawn? Those can't be rid of without a mod, they're notorious for people accidentally spawning them in..

I think the food system is fine. It needs to leave room for feeling more powerful in the late game so it can't give you massive buffs early in the progression.

Axe Skill is a weapon Skill that since H&H only raised by killing mobs(and at least with the spear by attaking a special annoying bird)

I'm indifferent to the control, but it makes blocking preferable, which might be the intent. Guess if it isn't the devs will change it at some point.

I find the default bind very practical. You always circle the enemy and hold block when fighting anyway, so that's just 1 key to press

I don't like it either OP....when I first realized I have to be blocking in order to dodge when I want to I asked myself, "of the hundreds of game's I own on Steam how many do I have to block if ..

i completely agree, it would be cool if the animation changed based on if a shield was being wielded

Seems like all the skills take longer to level up now, which is a really bad decision from the dev's considering the skill points barely affect your character, and it's easy to lose skill points by dy..

try without mods... it works fine for me, I pick up until 1) full or 2) overweight.

try checking the keybinding for the auto pickup enable/disable. Since it was added in the patch the default key might conflict with another keybinding you set up if you made changes to the defaults. ..
