Carrots (more specifically, carrot seeds) are found in the Black Forest, turnip seeds in Swamp. You have to farm the seeds to get veggies from them, which requires a cultivator, which requires bronze...

It's been reported that Boars will only tame from carrots or turnips since the update. Perhaps give them a try and see if it solves the issue?

You need to use carrots to tame them now. Berries and such don't work anymore.

I posted my gut feelings about this on a thread yesterday and my post was nuked and the moderator gave me a warning.Take from this what you will.

It took them almost a year to make H&H so I think the next major update will take another year if nothing changes in their attitude to work.

In my personal opinion, considering how little this patch was and it was added on their roadmap, it doesn't make me hopeful for the future. Roadmap items are generally BIG updates with a lot of conten..

Best to just log in, farm some tar, build a roof, then log out again.

Ridable and breedable loxes is one of the best things this patch added, also naming all your pets.
