Many early access games have experimental branches.

Devs allready actively take feedback on all of us, the early access testers :)There is a difference between a Beta & Early access!

It's early access... this is the experimental branch. We are the bleeding edge testers. People who don't want to deal with big changes shouldn't buy early access.

Likewise, in case of a bad ventilation, when the fire is intermittent, just wait for benefiting from the fire effect again, before hitting the Sleep key!

pipo.p is right. I've had a bed just out of range and able to sleep standing on the fire side of the bed but not on the other side or on top of the bed.

i thought this was new, couldn't recall if it used to hit everything on a swing or not. definitely an improvement.

Upgrade a bronze pickaxe, weapon, and shield. Skip the rest and keep to wearing upgraded troll hide. Use your first trip into the swamp to figure out where to get some higher tier food ingredients and..

Its viable but take care because food nerf make it full tier , 2 hp food and 1 stamina its the best to help you there , tasty me/ads anti poison and some stamina/health potions

and go during the day.. Its much harder at night, more spawns etc.

save your bronze for a bronze buckler and bronze axe. you'll manage with troll armor, just try and scout the swamps for a crypt safely from a distance, either with a boat or if it touches another biom..

i enjoy longship but i need iron. you can easily get one shot by things. so suggestions are welcome. im still not familiar with swamp folk.
