After I found Haldor, I built a portal to right outside his safe-zone. Second time I used it, a troll was waiting and killed me as soon as I popped in. Quite a shock.

The issue was a troll was nearby. killed troll all good.

No idea , that's just a quick search, but i'm guessing it's close. Don't know about the dwarf thing. If you're including GOT lore then yeah, let it burn it.

You can do an anonymous login for running servers separate from your regular user account. Using the steamcmd tool you can install it with something like "steamcmd +login anonymous +force_install..

I believe that the Deep North will be the final biome because Ashlands already has a little bit of content. Could be wrong though. I'm also thinking that either Fenris or Loki could be the final boss...

Berry/Mushrooms sadly need to be collected manually out in the wild. There ARE mods that let you plant them though. All other crops can be replanted to get 3 more seeds from each one.
