What's the problem? Trader position is irrelevant. Just set up portal where he is.

It's the other way around, the GPU usage drops because of the stutter (likely game/render thread stall).Nothing you can do about, the game does this during world save and other events.

Most of the boss barriers can be bypassed too. I think dragon tears are the only strictly mandatory one. (Well, that and the iron supply is *really slow* without a key.)

It's not really a difficult game. And I'm really not a tough survival player.The boss barrier for tech evolution is annoying. But that's all.

Personally I find the game in a perfect spot for difficulty. The bow isn't really overpowered if you use it normally. With death skill loss most people will probably have a bow skill of 50 or less whe..
