Yes it is but it gets boring after some time. Gathering resources is much better with someone to help.

Solo is fun and you can complete the game, but having someone to coop with makes it even better.

do you have a farm in your base with 30k wolves or boars in it? or a junk pit with bazillion of items?

You can also add the mod Craftable Chains. A bit of a cheat, but it does solve the problem.

I'll use the Floors are roofs mod and wait for the update to arrive.It was just for a design idea ... and then the search to find it became a mission.

There is a mod that makes floors act like roofs (Floors are Roofs). Does not add a flat variant of thatched, but essentially does the same thing. combined with Gizmo Reloaded, or the advanced editing ..

Just use stone floors, those function as a flat roof and look better, flat thatch makes absolutely no sense.

Pretty much, yes.Apparently because of the unexpected volume of players, they took a lot more time fixing bugs than anticipated.

Original roadmap had four releases on it. Game got released into EA during a global pandemic. Blew up in popularity beyond anyone's wildest dreams. Number of bug reports made is at least one magnitude..

The question is mistaken. The devs never "promised" anything. They had a roadmap that needed to be changed to adjust to the massive number of players and feedback.Please do yourself a favor ..

The game is well balanced in terms of difficulty for solo. No problems getting through any content. I mostly solo.
