You're not using Vulkan are you? If so, try without. I've had rare issues with Vulcan interfering with launch on other games. No idea why.

Have you tried turning it Off and On again ?

I died once, from not keeping an eye on my poison resistance enough and not backing off to let it cool down the last 20 seconds. Ended up in a silly situation and hit by 2 blob's poison with my health..

if memory serves i think i've seen most of them in the stand alone stone towers that are guarded by fulings. But i found the altars before the stones as well. big giant 'finger' stones in a circle, ha..

I found the alter while sailing past before even finding a runestone for him, probably just a lucky break.

Took me a long time to get a locator stop e thing, I probably cleared a dozen villages and twice that many plains biomes before finding one (and shortly after, a second one).

Checked off on the map? Right click and the icon disappears...left click will place a red X on it. Same with most icons...exception being your grave marker if you die...it stays until you die again.

game needs real creative mode and real survival mode where cheats cannot be enabled for example and world hoping does not work, aka player inventory and character locally saved in world data whatever...

The rest of us call that "world hopping".
