Note- if you put pukeberries on an item stand they look like apples for your decoration purposes.

I use weaker food as a way to just regenerate health when kicking around the base, exploring, etc and save my good food for when I want to be at my best.

Outgrown food is great for when you're in building mode. Gets you over the fall damage level so you don't die slipping in your hot tub or jumping down in your moat to play pool boy, so embarrassing. A..

I still use the cheap foods when I'm puttering around in the meadows or doing something like farming and feeding live stock. If I need to make a raspberries runs to make meads I'll use the cheap food...
