Wolves have good senses. If you are close enough to see the progress bar (even while you are sneaking) you'll alert it. If you can see yellow hearts going up its taming. The tamer it gets the greener ..

everybody here so dramatic. Solo is easy, combat is absolutely easy, grind is super well optimised, you never feel bored because you dont have to do much of it. (unless you are a builder freak)

I think it's a bug (or feature), that texture is random on render rather than remembered for your particular hen(s).

no, anything is good. He just can't be freightened. So make sure of that. If it's freightened it won't get taming points. Your presence will do that. Fire close to it will do it.
