I remember this topic cropping up almost since the day of launch. The devs made an aesthetic choice and most people happened to like it, that's all.

FWIW you can play the entire game with very low character skills. So if you die a lot like me it's not the end of the world, although it does mean the relative difficulty tends to be a bit higher sinc..

Skill level is not that important. A few levels lost won't make or break your game.

It would be a fun thing, but considering how simple the character creation is, I doubt it will happen. Maybe someone will come up with a mod.

For pure cosmetics maybe, but I don't want to distract the devs from finishing the other biomes with more game mechanics to figure out.

why would you fight the queen with a weapon that is HIGLY resistent too? pierce dmg is some of the worst dmg type you can use in that fight. the lighting doesnt make up for that loss. anything works f..
