those are the plains, not the new area...and don't try the block & stab unless you have a really good block rating. It will kill you trying that in a low level shield.

they are easy to hear when getting close, i use shield on the attack and then knock it down, easy when you learn the ways, also bow has mention above if you spot them from distance

Deathsquitoes have very low health. Shoot them from afar, or as they fly straight at you.

Maybe when the game is closer to release.

Got the same problem with my rx 5500 xt. Seems like the devs hate AMD :D

Every biome offers bountifully new materials and most of them are of use when you prepare for the next biome. you'll get absolutely wrecked if you try to skip biome. Even those that have played the ga..

It's a good idea to set up a basic hut at the outskirts of the swamp with a teleporter to quickly get back there.

I have a backup set it's just gonna take me about an hour to sail my ass back to where I died.

Every new biome is an increase in difficulty. So best advices entering a new biome are: be careful and have a backup set of armor/weapons.

I have lost about 90 ingots of bronze in total from just two minutes being OFF SHORE of the swamp on a small outcropping.
