Agreed, and this shouldn't be limited to food. All the crafting menus could use sorting options and filters.

Crafting lists in general could use a smart search bar or something where you could search for name/effects/ingredients, they are already pretty long and will get a lot longer i bet.

Yeah agreed, having to load it every time you take it out makes it incredibly obnoxious to use. It doesn't help that even sprinting will reset the bar to load it, making it somehow even more annoying ..
