Some RTX cards are reporting issues like this. Try to run in Vulkan rendering mode, that seems to be helping some people.Other than that, cap frames, lower settings... clean PC etc.

To be fair:For him it might be just Valheim.I mean for all we know the only other game he plays is Minesweeper. xD

It's not this game that's causing your overheating. If your box is overheating running Valheim then it will also be overheating generally.

dust off your GPU. most GPUs are built to run far below 95°C, but some ("blower-style") do get hot. now add dust to (possibly) an already weak cooling system and you've got a fried GPU. ove..

And use the first seconds when he spawns (when the floating points appear) and hit him in this state. So you can deplete about 10-20% of his HP before he is fully spawned.

Gear aside if you have lower skill levels it will make it harder to accomplish

Valheim Plus, does so much more than just allow one to transport ore and bars through portals. Gets rid of heavy fog, crafting from chests is a great QoL function as well as auto feeding and depositin..
