There's still 2 more biomes to come. I suspect magic will become a late game core mechanic that can be upgraded.

If you want to do it without mods, what I do lately when I start a new world is go to https://valheim-map.world/ and click random until I get a seed that looks good.

asking for workshop from them is a lot right now. i suggest you look into mods for this game. There is a mod that does what you're asking for.

Workshop could also be a place for custom islands.Editor could also be a place to create your own islands.

I'm sure there are probably mods to address these conditions, but IMO, the devs shouldn't turn around and re-code the game (at least not at this stage) to do things other than what they are already wo..

You already CAN Starve to death. If you don't eat food for a long period of time that 25 starts ticking down to 1, and then a stiff breeze will kill you.Constant rain would make it impossible to do mo..

nice thinking, I never travel between worlds myself, but still a good idea.

May as well just add airships. Would be alot cooler than sea portals with a bad animation.

I had a similar situation. I just ran out, attacked it once, then ran back in. Rinse and repeat. Lucky for me every time i went out it had its back turned to the door.

I have to say, regardless of how it *used to work*, my friends are experiencing the same behavior as OP.We have a shared server we play on, and they have also started worlds and used their characters ..

Just dig a moat around your base, enemies can't climb. Easiest form of base protection since the game came out.
