Not sure. There is a new boss stone so I do not know if you will have that on an old world. Any unexplored mistlands in an old world will turn into new mistlands so I don't think you have to restart. ..

It's a known bug with the latest update. In other threads about this exact problem (please use the forum search, people), it's been pointed out that the devs are aware of it and working on a fix.

yes the saves roll over to the stable, when its released. they same thing happened with the mountians. test branch, then over to stable. saves were fine

Are you playing on the PTB? if so join the discord and report the bug to the dev's.

Careful with mods. there alot that dont get updated. if the game auto updates it could destabilize your play through / corrupt save.

They can still edit anything into character inventory with save editor. There isnt any kind of anticheating in this game as its just coop
