They dont have to be that close. Nearby should be fine. But pets iz dum, so its a good idea to have a modest barrier around your fires to stop them wandering into them.

make sure you inventory isn't full when trying to buy the egg. That's why he wouldn't sell it to me at first as I had no space left. I chucked out the wood I had and then i was able to buy it

If youre talking about tamed wolves, they made it so they don't howl anymore.. or atleast nowhere near as often. Wild ones idk

From what I saw in a video, you need to reach Mistlands to obtain the materials for them, and you also need to eat specific food to gain the resource used to cast spells.

Since I removed the roof that was clipping into my chimney its working fine.

on inspection I found a roof part clipping into my chimney. Removed it and its better.

i do not have that issue myself and just started out 4h ago, will update if this happens tho
