No.Bosses do not require you to split aggro or anything to survive. Enemies are scaled up for more people but are balanced well for single player.

Get plenty of wolf heads but stone golem I've only ever had one in over 500 hrs of play.

the original "roadmap" was discarded / changed long ago.(last year) Mistlands is not complete / released yet and no one here will be able to give an exact date.
