Just take your time in each biome, enjoy the game. No need to rush. Level up all your gear and it wont be too bad. You will die and there will be frustrating times, its worth it though.

TBH, I'm not sure, but it does seem like crypts and silver veins spawn a bit better. But that might just be my imagination.

Trolls are actually very easy. Just use the bow, shoot at them, then run away when they come close.

Because you keep replying to them

Trolls aren't really all that scary. They're specifically weak to piercing to even encourage you to use bows. If they try to melee, just sprint away (no dodge needed since they attack so slowly)

Cloud error for me about 75% of the time and I often have to try multiple times to get it to sync. Local always saves.
