So wood floor is out of the question, i was expecting that. The question remains what's the maximum distance?

For a really tight zigzag, you could just use the V-shaped roof peak pieces. But yeah, not possible in this game to have a flat roof made of wood.

Flat wood sections are not considered a roof for the purpose of sheltering (stone floor sections do count). You have to use the 45 degree or 26 degree thatch pieces for a roof. You might have to zigza..

You can toggle off auto pickup with the V key, but it shuts off everything.

Trolls are weak to Pierce damage which is done by spears, bows, and Atgeirs. Parry with shield and stab with spear or atgeir for quick kill
