How can I get the res too upgrade my armour? It seems to need bones

I think it really doesn't matter at this level, but yes, a club is the best weapon against skellies. I personally used an upgraded flint axe. Worked very nicely in combination with the wooden shield.

its like Terraria or conan exiles, so just play solo

Very balanced already for solo play, playing with others is fun too. All bosses are killable solo as well.

Solo is okay, but the Swamps it becomes very unbalanced and the skill drain will wipe most of your skill progress as dying is inevitable without spending hours and hours preparing for each crypt raid...

V Rising isn't really like Valheim, since the world is pregenerated and fairly small and cramped. At least IMHO.Being an isometric game doesn't help either.It's not a bad game, but it's not a Valheim ..
