OP- Valheim is one of thee-most-successful best selling Steam EA-launches of 'all time', whatever the Dev's are doing its definitely working for them ;-).

There's an additional use when pressing shift when leveling. If you're standing in front of a mound of dirt you can reposition the leveling circles up and down with forward/backward mouse movement. It..

You should have gotten a 'resource' from the first boss (antler) that will let you make a pick. A pick does not drop, merely what you need to make the pick.

Funny, the 'monster' I fear the most (so far) is that bug. Easy to handle when you are aware, but one 'space' moment and @BoOm*! you gotta a stinger where the sun don't shine!

Try moving the spice rack hanging over it. That should fix the problem of the smoke putting the fire out over and over.

In my experience it is almost always an air flow issue second only to not being fully protected from rain.Without seeing your roof/chimney it is hard to make a guess.

I have had this happen but not with a sea serpent. Only had to happen to boars that i had at my base. For some reason they just vanished and not sure if it was due to an update issue.

Take your stuff with you, then it won't be entirely from the beginning.Also it's impossible for the Elder to spawn anywhere other than the Black Forest, but sometimes there can be other biomes nearby ..

I ran your seed in the world generator, and the Elder definitely only spawns in the Black Forest. You even have a spawn on your spawn island.
