The gunk upkeep for those torches must be a nightmare.

They'll just keep swimming all the way around, best to wall off the entire coast. Unfortunately that makes boat access a little tricky, but you can place gates in the water to act as boat gates.

I think you can get mods to make it harder by spawning more 1 & 2 star enemy or other perks to them, but playing legit all you can do is limit yourself, eg one guy plays without a bow, others use ..

Maybe all your boars are female

Find a meadow next to a Plain and make sure that Mosquitos spawn there, keep a portal to it and just collect loads of meat from the Mosquito kills, it's even better if Fulings spawn there too.

Something went wrong in your experience. Boars breed extremely fast. You don't even actually need to be there much. Stick around for 2 or 3 minutes, and they'll get knocked up, Go off farming whatever..

its an aoe poison that does minor damage. I don't think it stacks. One or two hives can kill normal grey dwarves. Anything tougher and the hives get smashed before the bad guy dies, 100 in a line migh..
