this game I swear...
My power has been flickering on off due to bad weather. The game erased all the the things on my body. "ok no big deal I just died I'll go get my body again" Oh wait! In this games infinite ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wisdom It remembered that my body had been collected, but not that the items were currently on my body. Honestly a pretty big blow considering my gear. Yes, I plan on pulling myself up by the boots and grinding out more gear. However, that's a stupid oversight. That needs to be fixed asap.

on a technical note.
when a computer starts losing power. it can affect it in ways you wont like. its recommended to turn off your computer if you do not have a dedicated UPS during electrical storms or if your having rolling blackouts.
data can be lost or corrupted. and this is well known issue with computers and programs.
BSOD is also known to sometimes cause damage to files.

Losing power to a PC unexpectedly can kill hardware, let alone your files. Increasingly it doesn't these days but that's by no means guaranteed, ever.So let me get this straight, you are upset & think that the devs need to fix the problem ASAP!!Losing power to a pc shouldn't delete items in the game. No other game has this issue.

And yes your character probably is your personal file, worlds save server chars save local. Unless they're using the server save chars mod, but then that should have saved you on crash unless the server went down too.
Anyway. There's fixes, to a problem devs can't solve.

you've got autosaves; use an earlier timestamp than your deathIt's not my personal file. It's a server a friend rents out. Good Idea. I wish I had thought of it sooner, but it's not just me playing.
