To transfer them from pen to pen, I make a loooong pen corridor and attract them with food.
This solution is a pain because it's slow.

You can use the cheap fence pieces to Mahe a narrow corridor to herd then to the new pen/base. Guy just above me made the save suggesting before I put mine here lol.

Just make it narrow enough you can push them along it without then slipping free. Don't even have to take them all. Just one 2 star is needed. Then just catch another regular boar abs breed it with the 2 star until you get more.

I just made wild boars follow me to the destination and tamed them there.
