trial/demo version?

I would like to buy the game but I have a really bad pc and I don't know if I can run the game and how can I do it... so is there a way to test the game for free like a trial or demo versione just to see how does the game run?

I play at 20 FPS max, and better this than to reduce more visual effects. If I had to buy the game again, I would do it. It clearly depends on how sensible about framerates OP is.

These are my laptop specs:
Processor --> Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 GHz
Ram --> 8,00 GB
GPU --> Intel (R) UHD Graphics 620 + NVIDIA GeForce MX230

I think that I can run the game but it would be really bad and I don't know if it is worth it.
I have never used steam refund policy and I don't want to mess around to be honest because I know nothing about it and I think I would probably miss something important and maybe get stuck. Anyway I think that like 30 mins/1hr would be enough to try out the "best settings"

Not really. If it runs just at just barely acceptable frame rates in the first two hours, then he won't be able to build a base, as it would murder his framerate.

Buy the game, play it for 1hr, and if it doesn’t work refund it because your computer can’t run it. Steam is typically pretty lenient on your first refund so I’m positive it will be accepted

Is Steam friends & family sharing not an option?

To be honest, i don't think 2 hours is really enough to truly get the real experience of Valheim. I mean, remember your first truly brutal, spiritually painful death? That is a big milestone in this game.

This game is early release meaning, in essence, it IS a trial version. It isn't done yet. To help, post your specs.

Steam has a 2 hour refund policy.
