Boars losing Star status when tamed- anyone else?
I had a pen with a few normal boars inside a fort, found a star boar and got it in and tamed it- then immediately found a 2-star boar! Many, many, many fence panels later I had him inside my fort- but decided the pen needed a security upgrade. I broke the walls down and let the others loose inside the enclosed fort, rebuilt the pen and went to go round up and funnel the boars into it... only to find the star boar and 2-star boar gone. The 2-star wasn't tamed yet but the 1-star was. All I had was normal tamed boar- and there was no dropped items from a dead boar (in case of shaman spray through the outer fence). Even if the wild 2-star boar escaped somehow, the tamed star boar would have still been there. There were the same number of boars in total.
I put all boars in the pen and thought maybe the status was glitched and might return after a logout- but nope.
So much work for a normal boar.
Anyone else experience this or am I just (un)lucky?

Did the boar reproduce in the meanwhile? You know that the number of tamed animals depend on the pen's surface in the end (they won't reproduce if density of population is too high). So, speaking of "loosing star status" is perhaps a hasty conclusion. Also, were you off the sector for a while, so that boars remains could have despawned, if not inside a workbench radius? Just putting forth some explanations.

No, I was *RIGHT THERE* next to them and my dwelling, inside workbench areas.
If you didn't have that happen to you, why are you running your mouth?

Did the boar reproduce in the meanwhile?No, They were not fed and were outside my main dwelling- still contained inside spike walls, right next to where I was building- which was a max of 10 minutes time, just long enough for me to replace a second row of spike walls inside the outer defense (fence in a fence)- to prevent any greyling/shamans from reaching them through the fence- and then funnel them back in.
So, speaking of "loosing star status" is perhaps a hasty conclusion.Its not hasty- that is literally what happened. That was my conclusion- because of the evidence. The pigs that were one and two star were instead standard boars. Same number of boars. They had one status- then did not. Hence = lost the stars.
Also, were you off the sector for a while, so that boars remains could have despawned, if not inside a workbench radius?
