Bring it! My base is a fortress. They can't even get past my moat!

I have feeling it turned really alot more tedious grindy with this food updates .

Your defenses essentially make you prone to being easily raided/damaged.

As someone else already said, you need to make high earthen walls and/or a moat/trench.

Most mobs with most raids are vertically challenged. If they cant get to you or your structures, they'll just stand there.

Later though there are some aerial mobs that can of course raid you that will make things more challenging but by then you'll have better protections to make it moot.

I wrote i played before i know all this problem i if i stay on this hill i made they go to bash my ship wchich is anchored nearby and spikes along entrance,raids are ok ,i do not hav enothing against but 3 in row with 1-2 days intermission is way too often ,as i said i played before and i never got raided as often.
if its random then they need to change code to force longer minimal intermission between raids .

It is random. And I've gotten everything from raids every day (usually around night fall), and nothing for ingame weeks. You learn to live with it.

It is completely random. Sometimes I get raided almost every day, and then days and weeks of nothing. You learn to live with it and fortify your base accordingly.

That said, if Trolls attack, lead them away from your base. All mobs in raids are only interested in you, not your base.

Move your bed away a hop skip away from your Home base, this will cut down the amount of attacks.

If you have a workbench and a fire next to your bed, and you probably do, it will also get raided. Having a raid every 3-4 days is just unlucky. It shouldn't always be like that.

You should have access to a pickaxe now, so dig a ditch with steep sides all around your base. Make sure that every inch of the inside area is covered by a workbench build radius. (Other things can stop spawns too, but the workbench lets you see the area it covers.) Mobs, including trolls can't climb vertical earth walls. If you align your digging with the compass, you can get smooth straight edges instead of jagged ones.

Leave room around the inside edges because the trolls will be doing AoE damage later and can throw big rocks. Make the inside area bigger than you think you need because you'll be adding a garden and more work spaces later. It usually takes me about 2-3 in-game days to complete a ditch, but it's well worth the effort.
