The video card heats up to 72°

Is it normal if my video card at maximum graphics settings heats up to 72 - 73° ?

Why are all these threads popping up suddenly? This is like the 4th one in 2 days asking if <Perfectly normal temperature> is okay.

I feel like there's a problem if Valheim is doing that (with Valheim.)

There's nothing wrong with Valheim, your video card wants to work at 100% load, that's what it's designed to do. If it's rendering Valheim at 300FPS and RE4R at 70FPS, of course they're both going to be running hot.

As mentioned above, utilise V Sync. Also, you can specify maximum frame rate in the settings, so set that to your screen refresh rate and it should help keep the temps lower.

If that's not enough, lower the anti aliasing and other post processing effects.

Modern video cards don't typically start throttling until > 85C; even 90C is still "within spec" for some of them. 70-something isn't any cause for concern.

This, I hate playing without V-sync as it gives more fan sound, stresses everything more so it has a lower life span, higher power usage, etc. Having variable high FPS instead of 120 or 60 or whatever V-sync locks you onto is completely pointless except in certain competitive gaming.
