Steam Cloud is lag
Okay so I figured out why world save takes over a minute for me. When I transferred my world to local, world save only last 10 seconds and I dont get those annoying stutters whenever I enter Mistlands. Steam cloud is the problem.

Yup! Has been for a while which is why I have steam saves off and that why they shall stay off till a load of folks tell me that the many-fold bugs slowdowns and worst of all deleting of progress in not happening any longer.
