its either poorly optimized or gets major slow downs because its a voxel game. Thats about as far as my IT knowledge on this goes. All i know is i built a huge castle complex and my PC (later i7/2080) was brought to its knees.

AFAIK there are no voxels anywhere in Valheim. The ground is a simple height map and buildings are collections of normal 3d polygon objects. I think optimising Unity builds might just be really hard.

runs around 130-150 outside of our base, torches are a real frame killer and the 600 iron on the ground isn't helping. Sometimes will drop to 90-80 when in heavy greyling army combat

Ancient half broken Nvidia Shield portable. Amazingly, their virtual service is still compatible with current Steam releases.
