Just giving some test info for games that generally don't get a lot of testing be review sites, so here's my own quick and dirty test after upgrading from a Ryzen 1700 to a 5800x3d.
GPU: 1070ti, RAM: 2900mhz

Test: Spawning in hundreds of greylings at world spawn (important if you're playing with spawn-that/custom raids mod)
Greyling counts
(fps) 200 300 400 500
1700: 15 5 Didn't test for 1700
5800x3d: 50 30 17 9
