I have had my game glitch a few times, with & without mods installed. A few times the problem was fixed after logging off then back on. Once I had corrupted files and through the Steam application had to run the gamefile validation. Before loading any mod I will always check to see the last time it was updated. I will only install mods that are consistently maintained and updated. I would never install a mod that did not have a recent post-Mistlands early December 2022, update applied. Two of the best mods for crafting are Valheim Plus & Multicraft. Valheim Plus because it has more functions than 4 or 5 mods combined, and Multicraft because the name says it all. They are both meticulously updated and maintained.

I found the problem! The Multicraft mod was an old version and it didn't ask for an update

We're not indifferent. You've borked the game with mods. As was pointed out, you answered your own question. And you figured out that it was indeed a broken mod. GO YOU!

I've not used Multicraft yet, but I have been tempted as of late. I generally cook 80-160 of 3 different foodstuffs at a time. I am gonna try Multicraft, combined with Valheim Plus' function allowing one to craft from chests, my time cooking could be better spent avin a cuppa, or beating my bairns ...

Ur answer is in ur own question. There's a mod ur using that's brakng the crafting button.

Uninstall mods tell u find the one causing this issue
