Picking the game back up after over 6 months of being away and shocked to see the game is so fragile I cant even change a single hotkey mapping without destroying everything..

Trying to use Valheim Legends but the new skills are mapped to the keys that change walk speed and Sit...Maybe I dont wanna sit down every time I use an ability? too bad I cant just, ya know..change what button does that on a controller.

Any changes made to key layout is never saved and immediately reverts back to default. Ive tried mods, config menus, etc...nothing works. Why is so hard to just want to change what a key does? Ridiculous.

If anyone has any suggestions other than just not using a controller, id greatly appreciate it; I have joint issues in my fingers so prefer to play with a controller. Any time I try to change layouts it not only changes it right back but then it bugs out the xbox gamepad and i cant use the Dpad, triggers, or start button until the game is completely reset...
