I thought they were off by default and had to be turned on? I've never ran a server though so don't know how it works. But I've seen posts in the past wishing for a way to enable commands on a server.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I have set no admins for the server or changed any settings.

they are off by default and cant be turned ON.

not even by an admin.

if you have devcommands working in your dedicated server, you're using game mods that enable such a thing.

A person in our server said they were able to use the “exploremap” command. I have not tried it, as I do not want to uncover my map.

the person who did use the command, has a mod enabling devcommands on dedicated servers.

if ole dude aint a friend, ask him to leave, or ban him from your server.

if he is a friend, ask him not to use his mods on your server.

There are certain commands that you can use even on a dedicated server. optterrain for instance is a devcommnd that can be run on a dedicated server. Don't know about the exploremap / hidemap commands

spawn will not work, debugmode will not work etc
