Can probably edit it out pretty easy , unless there is very unfortunate timing.

I dont think you can disable it.
It's a good point you make with recording and you could place it as a suggestion in the discussion hub suggestions for an auto hide or something.

Yea, not a fan of the big warning in the middle of the screen. How about smaller text in one of the corners of the screen instead?

I understand the function of the save (duh!) but it is ruining the whole immersion into the world. Let us disable the warning or minimize it to a corner.
