few annoying things that can't be considered as "gameplay features" but just bad design
- items sinking on water but character can't dive
- enemies which don't care about physics, running under deep water or climbing +90* degrees hills with full speed
- trolls raids(had 4 of them at once in my base and it's literally impossible to fight while playing single) (yeah, I know there are ways to avoid them but it's more like cheating so doesn't count in normal gameplay)

ure wrong even greydvarves can walk/run slopes on wchich u need use jump Items sinking and making retrieval of them hard or impossible makes sea journeys something to plan and makes them more intense. That said - I wouldn't mind a a potion to make you heavier than water. This would allow you to more easily bring shoreline items back, but it would also drown you if attempted at sea.
I haven't had any issues with enemies running in water - they can move under water, but I think they should be able to. I've never seen any enemy run 90 degree hills (cliffs) in full speed either. I doubt they can.
I've played the game enough to say I don't believe troll raids need nerfing. It's up to the devs, but if they nerf all hazards in the game, there will be little challenge left.

Ah, yes. Again, they're very tall, so they are able to walk in water much longer than you can do. Sucks, but that's what it is.

Skeleton and Draugr archers firing at you from under water with no impedance to their arrow flight.

I totally disagree with you.
The boat parts is part of a mechanic to make you watch where you park your boat. You can't just leave it anywhere. That said I do wish they would let us dismantle it the same way we build it so we can pick it up easier.
Skeletons are only dangerous in a pack. One of the things I learned the hard way was not to think I would be safe running into the water. They will just flood on you and push you out to sea and drown. Frankly going underwater like that is their only threat. Same with any enemy capable of going through water. If they were impeded too much it would make it too easy. Their actions seem balanced to the gameplay.
Troll raids... basically you don't want to build defenses and do not consider defenses "gameplay" but "cheating"... frankly I think you are just too lazy to bother doing the work to defend yourself then blame the devs for lack of balance in gameplay.
It sounds more like you just need to take your lumps and learn your lessons and do better. If you find these activities too difficult you may want to find another game that suits your pleasure. Or mod it to your liking.... one persons modding is another persons cheating. That said no one cares what you do in your game.

items sinking.... ever dropped a hammer over the side of a boat and tried to get it back without a magnet on a fishing line or something that vikings don't have handy? Its gone, if the water is deeper than about 15 feet, for most people. You can cannonball off the shore and get stuff that deep in game, so its not excessively unfair about it, and you can also terrain edit it back in reach.
troll raids... what do you want? If you think a moat or earth-wall is cheating, then the truth simple is that the game does not provide enough good defenses to protect fancy homes from such things. You can ring your area in 2-3 circles of hard to bash items like rock walls, but they are still going to break some of it regularly and you spend a ton of time keeping your defenses repaired. That gets old, but you can do it. If you are saying we need better defense tools in the build menu, I agree. Starting with rust proof tar coated iron spikes.
be careful what you wish for. realistic physics hurt the player too. Eg no more boat full of iron, too heavy and sinks. No more running up mountains or terrain walls. No more building gravity defying lateral nonsense like a 20 floor tile long walkway off the side of something. ...

also enemies able to throw stones at you while swimming ,you can't do this, damn rocks in river/seabed wchich iu cannot mine deep enough and u hit em while sailing at high waves,if u try mine every ♥♥♥♥♥ wave make u swmimmin and u drop ur pickaxe ,most frustrating thing.
also make something with that damn elevation misses we need to be able to hit things under or above us ,its ridicolous how it work right now .
@Jonnin yes hammer drow in real life but in real life u can dive to find it right?
if game hav emechaniccs of items drowning we need mechanics to be able to take em from underwater its rather logical ....
well so if ur hammer drown in real life u bring a 10 tons of dirt and drop into water so u can reach this hammer?

To DeGreZet: I'm sorry that I cannot help you but I don't have anything to add to what has already been posted to this thread.
To GunsForBucks: I also wonder why a player cannot dismantle a boat with a hammer. The other crafted structure which cannot be dismantled with a hammer is the cart. I am guessing this is because a player can physically move boats and carts but not walls, doors, kilns, or other crafted structures.
I have also toyed with the idea that Iron Gate Studio sees the requirement to use repeated blows to dismantle a boat or a cart as a method of preventing a player from unintentionally spilling cargo slot contents on the ground or in water. That seems somewhat out of character for Iron Gate Studio.

Draugr can't run under water. They merely trod along very slowly. The only enemy I've seen able to climb steep inclines very quickly are wolves. And that is absolutely fine, since I know what my dog can do, and she is VERY capable and very fast in climbing at least 80 degree inclines.
Troll raids are fine. Just kite them away and deal with them mano a mano if you have at least swamp gear. Stun block them, then kill them quickly with an abyssal razor.

-had a group of skellies chase me from the swamp to the ocean running along the ocean floor - funny but also ridiculous I

- had a 'you are being hunted while sailing ' saw a pack of wolves swimming after my boat - dumb
- build a base on the ocean you cant fully defend it because the enemies will just swim out to sea and back to the base to do damage - more dumb swimming
-the pigs jumping from shore to take a flying bite out of a boat is too much

but there are some enemies, which can, like trolls, ogres and skeletons for example, it looks just ridiculous when u are trying to move Ur boat slowly and see these skelletons running after U 20m under the water
and about troll raids -
yeah I know, but it's kinda hard to do it when it's a storm for example, stamina is slowed af and U can't hide anywhere cause they are destroying ur base

Trolls are fast on land, they can walk much longer in water than you, since they're way taller. I've never seen a troll starting to swim, and I doubt they will start diving.
And skeletons are just bones. They don't pose much resistance to water. So let them run on the ground. Can't get you anyway. It's more fun than anything threatening.
Not sure what you mean with "ogres". There are no ogres in the game.
