Wishbone not turning off after find

I found skeletal remains and picked them up but my wishbone still acts as if I am on something. I've dug all the way down and out from a radius of 10 metres. in the middle of the pit that I cannot dig down anymore is where the wishbone still beats as fast as it does when youre directly touching a hidden secret.

is this a bug? There is no chest any where within the 20 metres of pit, nothing can be dug down, there is nothing floating above me and if I move away from the middle of the pit the wishbone makes a deep sound indicating I'm moving away from the treasure, in the middle of the pit, where nothing is.

Thanks, I don't recall having to destroy the chest; more so when I logged in later the wishbone was detecting something still but a little further, and the "invisible" item that my wishbone was beeping at was gone. Might be something with the remains that didn't trigger the ending of the wishbone search.

I had the same thing happen. A skeleton with a silver necklace and my wishbone wouldn't stop pinging. I turned it off, then back on and it stopped...
