Went back to basic no mod Valheim half a year ago. Broken mods all the time not worth it.
The torches going out all the time is annoying me though.

then you are doing something wrong, everything works perfectly for me

@Suzaku, you can mix and match mods from Thunderstore and Nexus?? If so, do you need mod managers for both like R2Modman and Vortex?

Can confirm this advice works, 5/20/23. Downloaded standard V+ from Nexus. Did not launch. Copied files from Bepin update link, then copied files from fix. launched just fine. :)

if you are using any beta-test version - set it to none and repeat V+ install
(yes, Mistlands is now available in base game)

Still not working, I use r2modman and I have the latest version of BepinEx. I downloaded the mod V+ fix and I have all mods off except for V+ and BepinEX ... I get to the home game screen but I cannot click anything. The buttons compress when I highlight over them and click, the game does not start, and none of the other buttons open anything in game. I have to use taskmaster to exit. Vanilla still starts and works...but I can't start modded. Driving me nuts.

it is not, and is currently not getting updates.
though there is word it is being taken over and work will resume on it, no idea when though, so for now. its a dead mod.

The sites are just where you download the files from. Mix them as much as you like.

As for the managers, I'd assume you can use them both if you like. You can also download the mods and move the files manually. That's what I did. Most mods are simply "copy/paste Folder A onto Folder B. Overwrite files. Done".

It was working, but the most recent patch broke it again. To get it working once more, you need to update BepinEx to version 5.4.21, and download a fix made by someone else that isn't a part of the V+ team. I actually just did this last night and it worked perfectly.
