Please scale up the opponents in early biomes after the boss is defeated
Currently the game is too linear and the early biomes is getting obsolete way too quickly
We built all those fortifications in our meadow base and guess what
We will never need it anyway

scaling would be pointless in this game, since its biome progression based... there would be no point to having a max level gear scaled greydwarf or pig or a deer with super bug health and armor...
scaling is pointless.

I will have to disagree, but it really comes down to how you play. I have 2 - 3 "main" bases that I go back to from time to time - just to get away from my current objective to have a little peace. They are pretty far apart and I usually have things I want to do in those areas or do more exploring to expand the map. A lot of people move on once they complete their current objective, but I like to build so I tend to expand my bases or the areas around them. I still get attacked, but I'm able to defend.

But what's the downside to scale up weaker enemies? You will still have to return to old areas to have some fun

They talked about some previous biome content and challenge coming with Ashlands. No details yet.

You can make the enemies as hard as you want in previous biomes.. I don't go back to them anyways ever.. I build an island off the coast and never have to worry about raids even to be honest.. also, I think all this would do is just add tedium. Why would making a troll or any older mob a hit point sponge make the game any better? lol..

This is untrue. When you beat the queen, mobs like fulings, seeker broods, and leeches spawn in the meadows.

pfff. meadows. everyone knows plains > all for bases. can grow all crops aside mistlands shrooms and get good fluffy bois as neighbors. free bm delivery to front door regularly and cloudberries at doorstep. and less travel from edges of the map on top.
meadows is overrated for bases.

If you don't need it, why build it in the first place?
I think you should look at things the other way around.
It's because you build those defences you're safe. If you'd just build a single palisade or stone wall, sooner or later a troll event will smash through them. As well as through your other buildings.
Blobs will jump over them, Draugr and skeletons will attack walls until they break and so on.
But with a moat around your base and / or dirt walls behind that moat, having a spare palisade or stone walls between the moat and your buildings, the chances to have monsters entering your base has reduced a lot.
Yes, there's still bats and in worst case a Gjall, but in general it's because of the defenses the creatures that can't fly can't enter your base.
Even those that spawn only at night or from events.
Thorin :)
