Starting to feel like I am in Seattle to many days of rain taking a break.
Love the game seriously but.... I do wish there was a bit less rain since the biomes like the swamp has it anyway. Maybe I should have made my server creative. Fine with working on everything (farming, attacks, stamina) but for heaven sake can we have a bit more sun in at least the meadows.. like to see my creations a bit more often without the gods taking a piss....

As a resident in Seattle, I agree.
But I also like building bases in swamps. Reminds me of Capital Hill

Depends on your location and server seed, my server barely ever rains

I constantly joke with my partner that our original seed was the UK. Cold and wet. We're Aussie. LOL

If the days/nights were longer, maybe the frequent storms would feel more spaced apart. I think the weather is great, but the time is so squeezed together, that the storms feel like they're happening one right after the next.

I wouldn't mind a "slow" mode that increased the time for basically everything (food buffs, passage of time in game, debuffs, etc.) by a fixed percentage, now that you mention it. Would take some consideration to implement, though, I suppose (e.g. doubling the time of Poison but decreasing the damage per tick by half). If the days/nights were longer, maybe the frequent storms would feel more spaced apart. I think the weather is great, but the time is so squeezed together, that the storms feel like they're happening one right after the next.

Lived in Puyallup for a bit over a year. Gotta say, I think it rains more where I am now (Pilot Mountain, NC) than it did there. As a resident of Washington state, I agree and am also wet. :unterzee:

I know what you mean. It gets downright depressing at times. Just grin and bear it. Pretend you're Gene Kelly and start singing and dancing in the rain. Other than crappy visibility and a slight regen penalty, there isn't much downside to just going out in it.
Speaking of crappy visibility, this sure is a dim game. Several of the biomes are dark and, I'd swear, half the time the nights are twice as long as the days. I believe I'm getting lots of new wrinkles on my face for all the squinting I do playing this game.
PS - My brother lived in Seattle and had a t-shirt that had some ducks with little umbrellas and said, "Seattle Rain Festival, January 1st through December 31st"
