2-hit you?! How did that happen?

When I solo'ed the first boss, it was able to get me down about 85% of my total health, and I was wearing troll hide armour.

1. Are you wearing any armour? Make sure to wear at least all troll and leather armour.
2. Are you eating any food? Make sure to eat 3 different types of food.
3. Use a bow and flint or fire arrows.

i disagree Troll armour is way over kill. if you gonna tank its attacks i would recommend leather armour and a shield.
i agree with eating a full 3 type meal.
i disagree with flint or fire arrows. wooden are the cheapest and will still do dmg.

My point was that the OP could have done these things or other things to mitigate being 2-hitted by the first boss. They were suggestions that there are more options than being naked. There was nothing to agree or disagree about. The OP could go in naked with a crude axe and leather helmet for all I care. ;)

Basically, the first boss shouldn't be difficult.

Really i am at a loss. Obviously let it kill you. then go farm the materials and make what ever you need. then go back to the boss.
i have completed darksouls so bosses like this are trivial to me. Just use your head. it really is not hard

lol. Refund. I think you should just stick with roblox or minecwaft

Just start over.

You need to prepare for the boss fights. Listen to Hugin the crow who tells you hints. He even tells you to get your best gear before you fight when you arrive at the shrine.

Things he tells you are very important and should be read... trust me, you need to read that stuff.

Hitting tab will bring up a menu you can select him and get all the things he has said listed to read... but yeah I think your best option is to just start over with that knowledge.

There's no way you collected 10 deer trophies as a naked. You'll need a weapon, and likely one better than the wood club especially if you ate no food. To kill any amount of deer quickly you'll need a spear or bow and arrows which takes much longer than a few minutes, let alone figuring out you need 10 deer trophies altogether to summon the boss and still not realize you are supposed to wait till you fight him. Its basically impossible to get 10 deer trophies without figuring out the food system or crafting a decent weapon which is literally all you need to kill the first boss. The only way to be 2 shot by this boss is if you have 0 food and only the base armor. Even eating the deer meat you get from killing the deer to get the trophies is enough to prevent you from being 2 shot, and you'll easily have enough leather to craft at least 1 piece of leather armor.

solo you only need two to trigger the boss.

You can sneak up and kill deer without a bow

If i remember correctly i think its only 2 deer trophies you need. still deer are skittish and fast but its not hard to sneak up to them from behind and one shot them with a club.

solo you only need two to trigger the boss.

You can sneak up and kill dear without a bow

doesnt change the fact that you literally get food for killing them

On my first game I thought relatively similarly because the rune is right there at spawn, and it pops up on the map, so that's where I headed. Hunting / crafting / camping along the way, and I was also smooshed pretty quick.

Grab your stuff and run into the woods to start re-equipping your gear... eat whatever foods you've got to get your health/stamina up, then snipe at him with whatever arrows you've got after you dodge his range attacks, which are pretty heavily telegraphed. Once he's summoned you've pretty much got to deal with him.

Or start a new map.

its pretty simple to beat. u could even do it naked. just eat stamina food. use a bow and arrows. Stay away from it as it does an AOE attack. and when it lunges up its gonna send an attack straight at you so dodge out of the way.
