I am gonna assume the best gear you have is at least silver level etc? if not highly recommended giving Goblin Plains a miss til you have that...

If not then stealth and sniping with the best Bow you got and I recommend Frost Arrows to slow the green meanies down long enough for a second shot!

My first swamp was directly attached to a strip of meadows on my spawn island. There was also this sunny, happy looking place next to it that I didn't pay much attention to... until I dropped dead stroling through the meadows from a giant mosquito!

There were also these little green guys that ran around outside my swamp shack at night. I decided to just let them do their thing and picked up the droppings the next morning. I remember carrying around a chunk of green metal for quite some time after that, thinking it could be valuable some day.

Root armor turns deathsquitos into annoying gnats. If your corpse ever gets camped then ooze bombs are your best friend. Throw one in front of you while being chased and one tick of damage as they go through it is all it takes.

The mosquitoes deal a big chunk of piercing damage, but any sort of hit should kill them. I suggest ranged sniping since melee attacks still don't seem to aim up or down at all.
