With all the terrain variation in this game, it's frustrating that my character can't hit anything on a slope. I just made it into the mountains and this is especially bad. I get chewed apart trying to find a level spot where I can hit back, while mobs have no problem hitting me whether they're above or below.

Is there some reason weapons don't have more vertical range, to accommodate the terrain? Even better, a system that lets me aim vertically, but I realize that might be asking too much. Is there something I'm missing or doing wrong?
