Do you have limited data use? Is that even a thing anymore?

Of course it is. Not everyone lives in a city. Without rural zones you wouldn't have farmers producing food or any of the other necessities for life! Much of America and Canada has sub-par or data-limited/satellite internet.
Its probably hard for a youngster to wrap their head around though. America and Canada pretty much have internet worst than most foreign third-world countries.

My cousins live on a 1400 acre farm in no where South Dakota, they don't have limited data. I also grew up in rural areas, but that was before the internet.
Also I have no idea why you would assume I am a youngster.

Server is kind of like the coordinator between players.

Each player sort of hosts their own instance and whoever is in an area first hosts it. The server just kind of handles all the interactions between players so it kind of does double duty rather than hosting everything and just coordinating player position.

That is my guess anyway.
