yeah its probably what ill do. this game just has ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ save and mod handling

Well the game obviously doesn't encourage people save-scumming their way through content. Nor does it officially support mods.

Why not just log out from time to time whenever your rested buff ends? You can log right back in having made effectively made a backup, without having lost anything.

The command "save" only works when you are the host of the session, so you WOULD need a mod to bypass this restriction when playing on a dedicated server (but only if the server allows mods).

@OP Also, world save =/= character save, so it probably won't do you any good either way.

Had a lot of crashing going on too, so it's probably more feasible to just use the console and spawn the things you lost.

actually found a server side characters mod which should fix the issue. my brother hosts the games with his better pc and doesnt get crashes, this should alleviate the problems if it works
